A WebGL agency for interactive 3D websites

Real-time graphics that run in the browser, for products that need to be seen. Built in Malta for clients across Europe.

SCORVIA is a studio in Malta that designs and builds WebGL websites: interactive 3D that runs live in the browser, on desktop and on phones, with the page content kept as real HTML for search. Each project is a fixed fee against a written scope, and you keep the source code and the rights. We work remotely with clients in Malta and across Europe.

You are looking at one

The eye that follows your cursor on our home page runs live, in your browser, on your own device. It came from North Signal, a studio piece: a navigation you fly rather than click. It worked well enough that it became this studio’s own site, and you can open it.

A real-time 3D website earns its place when the thing you sell is hard to show in a photograph: a product with a shape, a space, a system with moving parts. Interactive 3D lets the visitor turn it over instead of reading about it.

  • Interactive 3D website: objects and scenes the visitor moves, not a video they watch.
  • Shaders: custom visual effects written for the graphics card, not stock filters.
  • Simulation: particles and fields computed on the graphics card in real time.
  • 3D web design: the scene designed together with the page, so it serves the message.

A performance budget, written down

A 3D site that stutters on a phone does more harm than a flat one. Before we build, we agree a performance budget in the scope: how much the page may download before it shows something, and how smoothly it must run on an ordinary phone.

Every scene has a lighter version for weaker devices and a still fallback when motion is switched off. The page works before the 3D arrives.

3D and search

Search engines read text, not pixels. We keep the content of every page as real HTML next to the canvas, so the headings, the copy and the links are there for search and for screen readers whether or not the 3D loads. This site is built exactly that way.

People searching for a three.js agency usually want the same outcome: live 3D on a site that still ranks. That is what we build, whatever the scene needs underneath.

How a 3D website project runs

  1. Call and scopeWhat the 3D must show and why. You receive a written scope, a performance budget and a fixed fee before any work starts.
  2. PrototypeThe core scene running in a browser early, so you judge it on a real screen.
  3. Design and buildThe scene and the page designed together, reviewed with you directly.
  4. Test on devicesReal phones and browsers, checked against the budget in the scope.
  5. Launch and handoverThe site goes live and you receive the source code, the access and the rights.

Questions about WebGL websites

Will a WebGL site work on phones?

Yes, when it is built for them. We test on real phones, ship a lighter version of each scene for weaker devices, and keep a still fallback when motion is switched off.

How heavy is a 3D site?

As heavy as the performance budget in the scope allows. We agree how much the page may download and how smoothly it must run before we build, and we test against it before launch.

Does 3D hurt SEO?

Not if the content is real HTML alongside the canvas. Headings, copy and links stay readable for search and screen readers whether or not the 3D loads. This site does exactly that.

Can 3D be added to an existing site?

Often, yes. A single scene can be added to a page you already have, as long as the site can load it without slowing the rest. We check that on the first call.

How much does a WebGL website cost?

Each project is a fixed fee against a written scope, agreed after a short call. We do not publish prices, because one interactive scene and a full 3D site are different jobs.

Do you work with clients outside Malta?

Yes. The studio is based in Malta and works remotely with clients across Europe, in English, Polish or Spanish.
