Brand identity in Malta, made to be used

Logos, visual systems and rebrands for companies in Malta and across Europe that need a brand which still holds up on a phone screen, a sign and a slide.

SCORVIA is a design and branding studio in Malta. We design logos, brand systems and guidelines, and we rebrand companies that have outgrown their first identity, for a fixed fee agreed against a written scope. You keep every source file and the rights to the work. Projects run remotely in English, Polish or Spanish, for clients in Malta and anywhere in Europe.

Brand systems and guidelines

A mark on its own does not make a brand. The system around it does: colour, type, spacing, the way photographs are cropped, the tone of the words. We write those rules down so a printer, a developer or a new hire can apply them without calling us.

  • Mark: the primary logo, a compact version and a symbol for small spaces.
  • Colour and type: a palette with exact values for screen and print, and a type system with sizes that work.
  • Guidelines: a short document with real examples, written to be used rather than admired.
  • Files: every master file and export, organised and named so you can find them in a year.

Rebranding

A rebrand starts with what to keep. Customers already recognise something about you, and throwing all of it away costs more than it looks. We audit what you have, agree what stays, and redesign the rest.

Among the branding companies in Malta, we are a design agency that also builds the websites and products the brand ends up living on, so the identity is tested on real screens before it is signed off.

A motion-ready identity

Brands now move: in a site header, a product intro, a short clip on social media. We design the identity so it can be animated without being redrawn, and we can carry it into motion design when you need it.

How a branding project runs

  1. Call and scopeA short call about the business, the audience and what is wrong with the current brand, if there is one. You receive a written scope and a fixed fee before any work starts.
  2. DirectionA small number of distinct routes, each shown on real applications, so you choose with evidence rather than taste alone.
  3. DesignThe chosen route is refined into the mark, the colours, the type and the rules, reviewed with you directly.
  4. GuidelinesThe system is written down with examples, so it holds when other people apply it.
  5. HandoverYou receive every source file, every export and the rights to the work.

Questions about branding in Malta

What is included in a brand identity?

At minimum a logo in its main and compact forms, a colour palette, a type system and short guidelines on how to use them. The written scope lists exactly what you receive, so nothing is assumed.

How long does a rebrand take?

The timeline is part of the written scope and is agreed before work begins. A logo refresh is a shorter job than a full identity with guidelines, and the scope says how long yours will take.

Do you hand over the source files?

Yes. You receive the master files and every export, together with the rights to the work. You can take them to any printer, developer or agency without asking us.

How much does branding cost?

Each project is quoted as a fixed fee against a written scope, after a short call. We do not publish prices, because a logo refresh and a full rebrand are different jobs. You have the number in writing before any work starts.

Do you work with companies outside Malta?

Yes. The studio is based in Malta and works remotely with clients across Europe, in English, Polish or Spanish.

Can you design the website for the new brand as well?

Yes. We also design and build websites, so the identity and the site can be made by the same people. See web design in Malta.

Tell us what you are building.

One project at a time, a fixed fee against a written scope, and you keep the source code and the rights. Write in English, Polish or Spanish.
