MtLocalGoodies: a marketplace that knows every town in Malta
A marketplace built around where things come from, with the map finished before the first seller arrived.
MtLocalGoodies is a marketplace for local producers in Malta and Gozo, designed and built by SCORVIA. All ninety-nine localities of both islands were modelled before launch, so search, browsing and seller onboarding use real place names from the first session. It shipped on a fixed-date MVP track and is live at mtlocalgoodies.com.

The problem
A marketplace launches empty, and this one is built around where things come from. Browsing by place only works if the map underneath is complete before the first seller arrives.
A half-known island would have greeted early sellers with "your town is not listed yet". That is a bad first message from a platform asking for their trust.
What we built
The geography went in first. All ninety-nine localities of Malta and Gozo were modelled as first-class records, so search, browsing and seller onboarding spoke in real place names from the first session.
The product itself shipped on the fixed-date MVP track this studio sells: a working product on a date agreed before work starts. See MVP development for how that track runs.
The result
The marketplace is live and answers for every one of the ninety-nine localities. Any business on either island opens its page and finds its own town already on the map. The platform was never the thing waiting to catch up.
You can see it for yourself at mtlocalgoodies.com.
