Private AI · On-premise language models
On-premise LLM deployment for companies in Europe
A language model that runs on your own machines, so client files, contracts and case notes never leave the building. Built from Malta, for companies across Europe.
SCORVIA is a studio in Malta that deploys private language models on a company’s own hardware. The model, the documents it reads and the answers it gives stay inside your infrastructure. Each build is a fixed fee against a written scope, and you keep the source code and the rights. We work remotely with companies in Malta and across the EU.

Why the EU changes the question
Most writing about language models assumes you will send your text to a cloud service. For a law firm, a clinic or an accountant in Europe, that is often the one thing they cannot do with client files. Private LLM deployment answers that by moving the model to the data instead of the data to the model.
A self-hosted LLM for business keeps documents in your infrastructure. That makes data protection simpler to reason about, because there is no third party processing the text. It does not replace your own legal advice, and we will not tell you it makes you compliant by itself.
- Private AI for companies: a model that answers questions over your own documents, on your own machines.
- On-premise AI agent: the same model taking steps inside your systems, with every action logged.
- Retrieval: answers that cite the documents they came from, so a person can check them.
- Handover: the system, the code and a guide your own team can run.
On-premise LLM hardware
The hardware depends on two things: how large a model the work needs, and how many people will use it at once. A small team asking questions over a document archive needs far less than a company running agents all day.
We size it in the written scope, before you buy anything. You get a plain list of what to purchase or rent, or we work with the servers you already have.
What we have already built
24U runs a language model entirely in the visitor’s browser at 24-u.app. The model is fetched once, runs on the visitor’s own hardware, and no draft travels to a server. The privacy claim is the architecture, not a policy page.
Our retrieval demo shows the other half: a loop that grades its own documents before it answers. You can open it and move the thresholds yourself.
How a private AI project runs
- Call and scopeWhat the model must do, which documents it reads and who uses it. You receive a written scope, a hardware plan and a fixed fee before any work starts.
- HardwareYou buy or rent what the scope lists, or we use the servers you already have.
- BuildThe model, the document index and the interface are set up inside your network.
- Test on real filesYour team asks real questions over real documents, and we tune the answers before launch.
- HandoverYou receive the source code, the access and the rights, with a guide to running it yourselves.
Questions about private LLMs
What is a private LLM?
A language model that runs on hardware you control instead of a public cloud service. Your documents, the questions people ask and the answers stay inside your own infrastructure.
What hardware do I need?
It depends on the size of the model and on how many people use it at once. We size it in the written scope, before you buy anything, and we can work with the servers you already have.
Is on-premise AI GDPR compliant?
Keeping the model and the data in your own infrastructure means no outside provider processes the text, which makes compliance simpler to manage. Compliance also depends on how you collect, store and use the data, so treat this as an engineering answer, not legal advice.
On-premise or a cloud API: which should I choose?
A cloud API is quicker to start and needs no hardware. On-premise keeps the data inside and avoids paying per request as usage grows. If client files cannot leave the building, the choice is already made.
How much does it cost?
The build is a fixed fee against a written scope, agreed after a short call. Hardware is listed separately in the scope so you see both before committing. We do not publish prices.
Do you work with companies outside Malta?
Yes. The studio is based in Malta and works remotely with companies across the EU, in English, Polish or Spanish.
